Rain Mate

RainMate is specifically designed for monitoring rainfall.

The Unit has a single Digital input that can accept PULSE from a Tipping Bucket Rain Gauge output

The wireless rain monitoring device can be configured to send a transmission each time a tip occurs or it can be configured to transmit readings at pre-determined reporting times.

The RainMate wireless rain monitor has a maximum range up to 10km.

The RainMate unit can be powered by internal AAA batteries or an external supply such as a Solar panel.

The average current of the RainMate between samples is less than 100uA.

The RainMate wireless Rainfall monitor is supplied in a rugged metal IP65 enclosure that is suitable for outdoor use. The unit is finished in white powder coated paint with poly carbonate enclosure.

The matching receiver unit can provide the measured results as regenerated Relay contact closures that provides the same number of pulses as produced remotely by the tipping bucket rain gauge or an RS232 serial output of readings at set reporting times.
