Pulse Transmitter System
The PulseMaster system has been specifically designed for remotely monitoring water flow or rainfall.
The Unit has a single Digital input that can accept PULSE from a Tipping Bucket Rain Gauge or Water meter output.
PulseMaster can be configured to send a transmission each time a tip occurs or to transmit readings at pre-determined reporting times.
The system has a maximum range up to 10km.
PulseMaster is powered by a 12V battery that is typically charged by a 5W solar panel. As the average current is less than 100uA, the system can run for long periods of time on battery alone if required.
The PulseMaster system is supplied in a heavy duty IP65 weatherproof enclosure that is suitable for outdoor use. The enclosure has a hinged front door for convenient access, padlock facility and mounting feet for simple installation.
The matching receiver unit can provide the measured results as regenerated pulses or an RS232 serial output of readings at set reporting times.
