The AnalogBridge has been specifically designed to offer a replacement for cable between sensors (such as pressure sensors, water level sensors, temperature sensors) that provide a current or voltage output.
The AnalogBridge system is built upon proven wireless technology and offers reliable and ongoing dependable performance in almost any situation.
Both transmitter and receiver units are provided in robust metal enclosures that offer IP65 weatherproof rating.
The wireless transmitter unit has provision for 2 analog inputs.
The inputs can be 4-20mA or a Voltage up to 0-10V DC.The wireless reciver unit provides 2 current outputs that range from 4-20mA (Voltage output is produced by placing a resistor across the output terminals)
The wireless link is self-monitoring. In the event of a link failure, both outputs will revert to 0mA to indicate a link problem.
The transmitter unit requires very little power to operated (typically less than 5mA average current), making it ideal for solar power or battery operation.
The unit operates by switching loop current each time a reading of the sensors is performed.
The unit then switches off the current loop supply and transmits the sensor output value to the receiver unit.Upon receipt of the readings from the transmitter unit, the receiver immediately updates the current on each of the 2 outputs to reflect the new reading. This current will remain stable between successive readings.
The AnalogBridge wireless analog link is available for operation at 151MHz for outdoor longer range applications (several km) or the 915MHz version for indoor applications and outdoor systems up to 1km.(Note: The 915MHz unit operates in the band 915 to 928 MHz for Australia and the 902 to 915 MHz band for international applications such as USA)
The AnalogBridge system comes complete with antennas and is ready to run “out-of-the-box”. Simply connect the power and sensors at the transmitter end and power and monitoring equipment at the receiver end of the link. The output could be connected to a device such as a PC or dedicated 4-20mA current loop or voltage monitor.
